Standing Meditation

Notes from 2013
A standing mind/body meditation. Try to allow the body to settle where it wants to, without judgement, and then allow it to shift as it pleases. In the beginning, try not to conform to some sort of "dancer's neutral" but now allow the body to discover its own neutral, in that moment, on that day...almost always different than it has ever been before.
Let thoughts roll over whatever they want - the body or other life thoughts may present themselves. Allow them to be acknowledged and observe if the body is working on some shift that needed those specific thoughts as a catalyst, or just to move the mind out of the body's way.
The mind may wander into places of tension, or "empty" places. The body may want to find an "equal" feeling, or to go into greater "imbalance." Feel the motion; perhaps the body just wants to move into new places...seeking "Home Base."
